Hey there! My name is Emma and I am now a Freelance Marketing Consultant.
Wow! That is a bit of a pinch me moment to see written on my very own consultancy website!
I'll keep this short and sweet, don't worry! I am an extremely passionate marketer with a creative eye, a wild mind for ideas, and a drive for marketing excellence.
Consider me your new hire, your in-house brand or Marketing Manager… or your Marketing Fairy Godmother, you decide!
You're probably wondering how 'she does' came to be…, and the simple answer is, I love helping people and businesses bring their plans to fruition. And, if I can also help others (like myself) bring their self-employed and small business dreams into a reality, then that's a real bonus!
I started my career 5+ years ago when I finished my degree with a first class honors in Marketing Communications and Advertising. Aftering working in an agency where I collaborated with Engineering and Architectural clients - with an additional focus on our in-house SaaS products - I then progressed into the Automotive and Motorsport industry (this is where I truly loved my job). Here, I worked with some amazing brands and got to experience some amazing things, the Isle of Man TT being one of them! I confess that even though I’ve now left this world, I still, very much, love it! As someone who entered that role with no prior knowledge of riders, the races or the brands - this is where I think I truly came into my own and began to belief in myself and my Marketing abilities. In August 2024 I found myself wondering what my next steps should be. After moving on from Motorsports and trying my hand at Account Management in another agency I somehow found myself wondering, how will I find the same challenges and thrill, and how can I better myself and continue building on my knowledge? I wanted to put my industry experience to great use and create something I could be proud of. I like having an active role, and being part of the ideation and creation - not delegating staff!
This is exactly when I realised, there is never a right time to take that leap and work for yourself… and so, here I am! I have always wanted to 'someday' be my own boss and create a Marketing Consultancy that propels businesses to sucess - and this is exactly what 'she does marketing' aims to do!
Consider my philosophy as “why help one, when you can help many". I thrive on variety and creative freedom. Being given the chance to come up with ingenious, out of the box and new concepts - I plan to do just that as a consultant. Crafting custom and bespoke packages and services. One size doesn’t fit all and I aim to make sure that any brand who ever works with me gets given 110%, nothing less.
